D THE LAST 12 YEARS 30 PATIENTS AT Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases and the James Ewing Hospital, New York, N.Y., have had Aspergillus infections. This fungus disease was a contributing factor in the cause of death in at least 11 patients (37%). There were 2 basic patterns of infection: (1) localized to a single organ; (2) multiple organ involvement.
