Evaluation of the feasibility of virtual magnetic resonance (MR) arthroscopy was performed on 10 patients referred for MR arthrography of the shoulder, the elbow, or the knee. A fast spoiled contrast‐enhanced three‐dimensional gradient‐echo sequence was combined with image postprocessing to render arthroscopic views. Virtual MR arthroscopy was successfully demonstrated in all 10 joints. Determination of added diagnostic benefit will require further study. J. Magn. Reson.
