For some time past the calculation of particle transport on vibrating supports has been executed with the help of the analysis of single particle movement. In recent years some approach on the calculation of particle transport as a multiple‐body system has even been presented. Comparisons with experiments, however, showed that even the simple problem of particle impact on solid planes has not yet been described sufficiently. For this reason, the transport behavior of single particles is investigated with different impact models in a two‐dimensional simulation. The results are compared with experimental data presented by the authors.
