he activity surveillance of a nuclear stack waste repository includes the task of monitoring the stack effluent. A method to determine the relative spatial concentration of particles in a particle laden flow was introduced. The procedure allows one to examine and to optimize probe sampling conditions for a ventilation system by means of a small model already during project design.
