Gels based on N‐isopropylacrylamide have a reversible decrease in solution content of the polymer skeleton with increasing temperature, which is in contrast to many other polymers. The transition point from high to low solution content is determined by the co‐monomers used in the synthesis. The authors present a continuous synthesis for radical polymerization of gel beads in a narrow size range.
