Analysis of the data measured by the dynamic stationarized method shows that this method significantly undervalues measured data even on measurement at low k L a values such as 0.06 s –1 , the value common in industry fermentors. It was shown that the maxima revealed by this method in the dependence of k L a on electrolyte (Na 2 SO 4 ) concentration and on surface tension of aliphatic alcohol solutions are not real phenomena but only the result of error in the measurement of k L a .
