Metallocenes are moving out of the laboratory into commercial production of polyolefines. Some processes, such as gas‐phase polymerization, require the immobilization of the metallocene catalyst and the cocatalyst on a solid support. The aim of this work was to prepare a solid supported catalyst and to investigate its performance in the polymerization of ethylene under high pressure.
