The transient current pertaining to potential step experiments for reversible electron transfer reactions is analysed for rotationally symmetric ultramicroelectrodes of planar geometries. A two‐point Pade´ approximant valid for entire time domain is derived for disk and ring geometries. Current function estimates are provided for various ring dimensions.
