Highly efficient acentric crystalline materials are sought for applications involving various nonlinear optical (NLO) phenomena. A new series of mainly acentric, crystalline materials based on the non‐rod‐shaped π‐conjugated hydrazone skeleton are presented, along with their molecular and NLO properties and the single‐crystal X‐ray structure of one of them, 3,4‐DHNPH. The Figure shows examples of crystals.
