The thermodynamic calculations of dissociation of LiAlO 2 and LiGaO 2 as function of temperature and oxygen pressure are presented. It has been found that LiGaO 2 evaporates congruently at the melting point under the oxygen pressure equal to 1 · 10 —5 atm. LiAlO 2 evaporates incongruently, the equilibrium oxygen partial pressure at the melting point is equal to 9.6 · 10 —5 atm and the partial pressure of Li and Al oxides decrease with increasing of oxygen pressure.
