A two‐dimensional model of a screw lattice (2DSL) with asymmetrical interaction forces is proposed as an example of a square block lattice more general than the well‐known simple square lattice with centrosymmetrical forces (Kossel crystal). The lattice energy determining the equilibrium is calculated for this model using block repeatable steps of quadrumers. An influence of the degree of asymmetry of the forces is established on the equilibrium form of a large 2DSL crystal at the restriction of first and second neighbour's interaction.
