In the present paper, a problem of a yield condition accounting for concave plastic corners accompanying plastic hardening is analyzed. To model this the Edelman‐Drucker hypothesis of anisotropic hardening is applied. The experimental data of M1E copper as well as Ck15 and X6CrNi18.11 steels are chosen as examples to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.
