The partial breaking N = 1 D = 10 → (1,0) d = 6 is described within the nonlinear realization approach. The basic Goldstone superfield is (1,0) d = 6 hypermultiplet superfield subjected to a nonlinear generalization of the standard hypermultiplet constraint. The generalized constraint is interpreted as the manifestly worldvolume supersymmetric gauge‐fixed form of equations of motion of the Type I super 5‐brane in D = 10. Some related problems are briefly discussed.
