A particular energy level, called the transport energy is known to play a crucial role in hopping transport of carriers in those disordered systems where hopping is related to tunnelling of particles between localised states. In such processes hopping rates depend exponentially on hopping distances. We show that such a transport energy also exists if the motion of excitations is determined by the so‐called Förster processes in which hopping rates depend on hopping distances via a power law.
