The interplay between inter‐ and intra‐chain charge transport in the conjugated polymers poly( p ‐phenylene vinylene) (PPV), and polythiophene (PTh) has been investigated. By studying the conductivity σ as a function of frequency, temperature and doping level, we clearly observe a doping induced cross‐over from 1D to 3D in PTh. The data in PPV show 3D behavior at all concentrations. These differences are explained and values for the hopping parameters are derived.
