Experimental studies on quasi 2D biexcitons all indicate substantially higher binding energies than given by Kleinman's theory but agrees well with a simple model‐calculation published by Singh et al. To localize this discrepancy we have reinvestigated Kleinman's work and we have discovered the missing of a factor of two which, however, leads to a reduction of the binding energy. Possible flaws in the theory are discussed.
