According to theoretical concepts, the dependence of the exchange integral on the interatomic distance J ab ( r ) has an extremum. But the dependence of the Curie temperature on volume is usually assumed linear, which excludes the description of the behaviour near the extremum. In the current contribution we therefore introduce a nonlinear term into J ab ( r ). This can lead to supermagnetostriction.
