The application of Tokuyama‐Mori formalism for the description of the emission decay of a specific physical system — Pb 2+ ions in a potassium halide crystal matrix — is shown. The decay is numerically calculated from subpicosecond up to microsecond time region to study in what extent the results differ from the standardly used Pauli master equation.
