Four novel thianthrene‐containing polymers were investigated by cyclovoltammetric measurement. The redox behavior of these materials is compared with the chemical structure, and the oxidation behavior reveals that these polymers are suitable hole transport layers for electronical devices. The polymers were used in single and double layer set‐up as light emitting diodes (LEDs). The diodes were characterized by electroluminescence, photoluminescence and absorption spectroscopy. Due to the chemical structure, blue, green and white emitting LEDs were accomplished.
