Ni‐decorated Pd frameworks are displayed by the anionic clusters [Ni 16 Pd 16 (CO) 40 ] 4− ( 1 ) and [Ni 26 Pd 20 (CO) 54 ] 6− ( 2 ) (left and right in the picture, respectively), which are stabilized by a shell of carbonyl ligands. The cluster anions were obtained by reaction of [Ni 6 (CO) 12 ] 2− with [Pd(SEt 2 ) 2 Cl 2 ] in THF.
