Cobalt‐ and manganese‐containing aluminophosphates with AEI‐type structures (AlPO 4 ‐18) allow the selective oxidation of linear alkanes with air in the liquid phase under mild reaction conditions (for example, Reaction (1), which proceeds with 7 % conversion and 54 % selectivity). These offer new perspectives for the selective oxidation of hydrocarbons with O 2 in the liquid phase.
