The metalla‐norbornadiene complex 1 , extended by two phosphaalkyne units in the 1,4‐position, is formed by an unprecedented pentamerization of the phosphaalkyne MesC≡P (Mes=2,4,6‐Me 3 C 6 H 2 ) in the coordination sphere of the transition metal complex [W(CO) 5 (thf)].
