The connection of square‐planar [Ni(CN) 4 ] 2− ions with Ph 3 Sn + ions results in 1 , a noninterpenetrated three‐dimensional coordination polymer with an expanded NbO structure. The (Ph 3 Sn) 2 Ni(CN) 4 framework (shown schematically without phenyl groups and solvent molecules) displays a large central cavity that is occupied by Ph 3 SnOH, acetonitrile, and water molecules.
