Conclusive proof has now been obtained for the selective association of trigonal BO 3 and tetrahedral BO 4 units with H + and Na + ions, respectively, in B‐ZSM‐5 zeolites (the interactions are depicted in the picture). This was achieved with a combination of 11 B{ 23 Na}, 11 B{ 1 H}, and 1 H{ 11 B} rotational echo double resonance (REDOR) NMR spectroscopic experiments.
