Tetrametallic rhodium and iridium blues , related to the well‐known platinum blues, are formed by redox condensation of dinuclear pyrazolato rhodium and iridium complexes in different oxidation states. The metal atoms in these novel complexes, such as the cation [{Rh(μ‐pz)(CN t Bu) 2 } 4 ] 2+ , have a fractional oxidation state of 1.5.
