Due to their unique geometric and electronic structure , compounds with cumulative double bonds are of particular interest. In this paper we report the first allenic compound with doubly bonded phosphorus and silicon, the 3‐phospha‐1‐silaallene ArPCSi(Ph)Tip ( 1 ), which has been obtained by dechlorination of ArPC(Cl)Si(Cl) (Ph)Tip by t BuLi. This in turn forms two types of dimers above −30 °C: one formed across two CSi bonds and the other formed across one CSi and one CP bond.
