Thermal ring‐opening of azaphosphirene 1 in the presence of a variety of nitriles gives rise to the title complexes 2 – 4. The nitrile concentrations and the nitrile substituents are shown to influence the reaction course and product ratios. These reactions are considered to proceed via the transiently formed nitrilium phosphane ylide complexes A. [W] = W(CO) 5 , R 1 = CH(SiMe 3 ) 2 .
