Die zur Chelatisierung der cis ‐Positionen von Metallionen entworfenen Verbindungen trans , cis , cis ‐[RuCl 2 (X)(Y)(4′‐ cis DPyP) 2 ] (X, Y=Me 2 SO, CO; 4′‐ cis DPyP=5,10‐Bis(4′‐pyridyl)‐15,20‐diphenylporphyrin) reagieren mit [Pd II (dppp) 2 (OTf) 2 ] (dppp=Propan‐1,3‐diylbis(diphenylphosphan), OTf=F 3 CSO 2 ) zu den gezeigten quadratischen Heterodimetallporphyrinen (M=2 H). Bei Umsetzung mit Zinkacetat wird Zn 2+ in beide Porphyrinringe diese Komplexes eingebaut (M=Zn).
