International Coffee Agreement (ICA) impact on prices, premiums, and discounts for coffee grades are determined. Data for 967 transactions from 1987 to 1991 are used to estimate a hedonic price model. ICA abandonment reduced prices received and reduced the premiums paid for wet‐processed high quality Robusta coffee. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
