Magnesium oxide‐supported polytitazane–platinum complex has been found to catalyze the oxygenation of diphenyl methanol with high yield and high selectivity at 140°C and 1 atm O 2 . The N/Pt molar ratio, temperature and solvent had great influence on the activity of the catalyst.
