The identity and structures of the three main tertiary indole alkaloids of Strychnos atlantica were confirmed and verified by high field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Complete 1 H and 13 C NMR spectral assignments were obtained. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
