Abstract The 1 H NMR study of fulleroproline derivative Ac‐Fpr‐O t Bu and its Pro analogue Ac‐ l ‐Pro‐O t Bu over a range of temperatures in toluene‐ d 8 solution has enabled the comparison of their equilibrium and activation parameters for the trans / cis interconversion around the amide partial double bond. © 1998 European Peptide Society and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
