A performance evaluation of a newly developed blend of HFCs and HCFCs, as a substitute for CFC‐12, CFC‐502 and HCFC‐22, is presented. The blend's performance has been evaluated using various air/refrigerant equipment. The test results showed that the blend is not only environmentally sound, but it also enhances the performance by 7 to 30%, depending upon the application.
