Paroxetine improve the quality of sleep and the ease of waking up on subjective measures of sleep (the LSEQ). Dothiepin in contrast improved the ease of getting to sleep, but caused a reduced quality of sleep and a ‘hangover’ effect the next morning. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
