Risk Calc is a software package which extends basic arithmetic, mathematical and logical functions to cover interval‐valued and fuzzy numbers. It is available from Applied Biomathematics in Setauket, New York, who have developed and market a wide range of ecological and environmental health software. Risk Calc runs on a PC compatible under Windows 3.1 or later, and needs about 1 Mb of free disk space to install.
