Thioesters of the phosphorous acid containing cymantrenyl and ferrocenyl substituents at sulfur were obtained for the first time from the reaction of organometallic disulfides with white phosphorus. According to an X‐ray diffraction study tricymantrenyl trithiophosphite adopts an unusual asymmetric cis , gauche , trans conformation along the P–S bonds with respect to the phosphorus lone electron pair. Triferrocenyl trithiophosphate possesses a classical propeller‐like structure in the solid state which is different from its oxygen analogue.
