This paper presents an improved three‐dimensional ray‐tracing propagation model and a series of multipath measurements in a typical picocellular environment. Prediction results from our model show good agreement with measurement data in terms of power delay profiles, root‐mean‐square delay spreads, and signal path loss. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
