An original concept is presented for increasing the performance of a pseudo‐operational amplifier. This concept proposes a current mirror in which an inductance improves its gain and phase at very high frequencies. Using this structure in the design of a GaAs pseudo‐operational amplifier, very promising simulation and experimental results are obtained. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
