A transmission‐line equivalence involving a direct substitution of a stub by a pair of half‐length stubs is presented. The achieved design flexibility may be used for extending the practical feasibility range of microwave circuits, as impedance scaling is obtained. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
