Galerkin's method in the Hankel transform domain is used for determining the resonant frequencies of the dominant even and odd modes of broadside‐coupled circular microstrip resonators in conventional, suspended, and inverted configurations. Some of the computed resonant frequencies are compared with experimental results, and good agreement is found. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 22: 271–273, 1999.
