The impact of induced dispersion on the microwave frequency response of an optical fiber notch filter is analyzed and simulated in this letter. An experiment has been carried out to verify the theoretical prediction. The technique to suppress this impact and experimental results have also been presented. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
