A circularly polarized dielectric resonator (DR) antenna array composed of two linearly polarized cylindrical DR antennas with very high permittivity is demonstrated. The cylindrical DR antennas are excited through an annular slot cut in the ground plane of the microstrip feed line. The present design is easy to be implemented, and good circular polarization (CP) performance has also been obtained. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 21: 323–324, 1999.
