Working in the Fourier domain, this paper analyzes the behavior of electromagnetic fields on the interfaces of chirostrip dipole antennas. Special attention is dedicated to the oscillatory behavior of the kernel of the inverse Fourier transform. It was found that the boundary conditions for the magnetic field, valid for microstrip structures, are not completely satisfied when we deal with chirostrip structures. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
