Serial corner feeding of a square patch with two ports is proposed to realize dual‐polarized operation. A novel coplanar feedline network is also presented for the array. A method of analysis is developed. The measured isolation is less than −40 dB at 6.07 GHz. The array has a small size and is easy to be combined further to form a larger coplanar array. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 19: 214–216, 1998.
