Plane wave reflection and transmission from a uniaxial chiral interface have recently been found. In this letter, the propagation of the electromagnetic waves through an infinite slab of a lossless uniaxial chiral medium is formulated for normal incidence, and an equation for the total transmission dyadic coefficient is derived. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
