A two‐element dual‐frequency microstrip array operated at 1.9 and 2.45 GHz is studied experimentally. The array has improved antenna gains and good cross‐polarization characteristics for both operating frequencies. Details of the array design and measured data are presented. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 15: 67–68, 1997.
