A general theory of the interaction of magnetostatic waves in ferromagnetic films with various microwave sources is represented. A rigorous analysis based on the initial formulation of the eigenvalue problem and the use of a complete functional basis is realized. The excitation equations for interactions of magnetostatic waves with the rf external electric and magnetic fields, electric current, and magnetic charges are obtained. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
