The complete assignment of the carbon NMR spectra for 14 N ‐arylphthalisoimides was achieved using the concertedapplication of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR techniques. The parameterspreviously reported in the literature were found to be wrong.©1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
