Structural and Stereochemical Assignment of Some Diastereoisomeric Oxaspiro[4.4]nonane Derivatives

A full structural and stereochemical assignment was achieved for several diastereoisomeric oxaspiro[4.4]nonane derivatives by the concerted use of modern gradient‐based 1D and 2D experiments. The clean NOE data quickly obtained from high‐quality GROESY spectra together with proton and carbon chemical shift correlations afforded the main clue in such stereochemical elucidations.
