One of the frequently used ligands, hydri‐dotris ( 3, 5 ‐ dimethylpyrazol ‐ 1 ‐ yl ) borate, and its thallium complex were fully characterized by multinuclear NMR. New 15 N, 205 Tl coupling constants were measured. A dynamic process, with an activation energy of 65 kJ mol −1 , which corresponds to the nitrogen–thallium bond breaking, is observed in these compounds.
